Workplace wellness depends Delivered by Digitally Wellon leaders who are committed to creating, nurturing, and modeling a supportive work environment that prioritizes their own health and wellness, as well as that of their team. In this two-part workshop, leaders will assess the larger corporate culture of well-being in their organization, reflect on their leadership role in employee wellness, and identify key areas where they can foster personal and organizational wellness.

Content delivered over 2 x ½ day virtual workshops.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to;

  • Describe their organization and team’s corporate culture of wellness

  • Identify the benefits of personal and employee wellness and how it contributes to organizational success

  • Recognize their leadership role in contributing to employee well-being

  • Identify strategies to improve workplace wellness and communication

  • Develop a wellness plan

  • Building Your Wellness Toolkit

    Digital wellness. Leveraging technology to your advantage. Fostering an authentic connection with remote/virtual employees. Daily rituals that contribute to wellness. Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Psychological safety

  • Developing a Wellness Action Plan

    Reflect on your personal well-being. Assess your team’s well-being. Develop a wellness plan.

Facilitator

Digital Wellness Educator | Speaker | Consultant Lisa Pender

Lisa Pender is the founder of Digitally Well, a corporate training provider specializing in digital workplace well-being. She is a passionate educator, trainer, and speaker and is a contributing LifeSpeak, Inc. expert on digital wellness.

Lisa is also a college sociology professor at Mohawk College and holds a Master of Arts degree (University of Waterloo) and an hons. B.A. (McMaster University). Lisa achieved her Digital Wellness Educator certificate from the Digital Wellness Institute and is a graduate of the Mindfulness in Modern Society program at McMaster University.

Lisa volunteers with Fairplay (Children's Screen Time Action Network) and lives and works in the Hamilton, ON area.
